Gallery Nine - Stained Glass - 1

Sunset





Sunset, stained glass table top. Below, set into its table.
The whole was designed and executed by the artist. Bevelled clear glass
was fitted over the top of the stained glass, making the table useable.
The green and blue colours are caused by the iridescence of those pieces of glass.

The technique used was the Tiffany method of joining the glass.
Note: This photograph of the painting has lost much of the fine detail and colour subtlety.
