Pyramid light console

Picture title: Pyramid light console.  Commission
Stained glass. Console size approximately: 48" long x 22" deep x 20" high at the back.
(122cm x 56cm x 51cm). The purpose of the client was to radiate the full spectrum range of
my stained glass pyramids using daylight spectrum lamps from below. The artist designed
the console specifically for the purpose for this client. The lighting source is full spectrum
lighting shining through white glass.
Ancillary to the healing effect of the colours themselves the client wished to have the pyramidal
energies radiating in and around the colours. Science is only on the verge of discovery of the
effects of pyramid energies, and likewise the therapeutic effects of colour.
In the mirror reflection to the left can be seen a white pyramid on a white base. This was a design
creation of the artist in 1989. The pyramid lamp was sold as a stand-alone unit, available in twelve
stained glass colours. The artist made the early stage application of a patent for the product.
Note: This photograph of the painting has lost much of the fine detail and colour subtlety.
