Also, the photo of the painting is slightly out of focus and has lost much
of its colour subtlety.
The objective of the painting was to depict peace, (the dove),
gaiety and joy, and the woman
sitting in the chair on the lawn in the shadow of the tree watching,
absorbing it all.
