Sweet innocence at the castle

Picture title: Sweet innocence at the castle, Anna & Mena at Castello Aragonese, Ischia. 1979.
Oil on canvas. Size: 19-3/4" x 27-1/2" (50cm x 70cm). Sold.
Note: My original objective for this scene was to paint it on a large canvas, which was physically
impossible owing to the castle being situated high upon the rock via a long winding enclosed path.
Therefore I used this painting as the basis for the larger canvas "
Tranquillity, picnic at the castle," painted
during the winter period in my loaned villa, with the girls coming to sit for me over several days.

Further note: The photograph of the painting is a little out of focus with loss of fine detail.
