Raritäten Bazaar - [Marion - 1976] - Set of 4 postcards

Set of 4 postcards in pen and ink. 1976.

Note: The originals were drawn about double postcard size and printed as postcards to promote
my business
Raritäten Bazaar in Düsseldorf, Germany, in the mid-1970's. The designs featured a young love at the time, Marion Hermsen, whom I later used as the portrait of a painting Marion the temptress; she was wild and volatile and could never settle down since leaving home, departing for Paris years before at the tender age of 14. Her father was a German lawyer with a very straight background and had no idea what to do with her. Art Nouveau and Art Deco were my love during that period, hence their theme for the Marion paintings.
The Raritäten Bazaar business was basically antiques and objet d'art and restoring antique furniture from a large warehouse, and emblazoned the name across the bonnet of my estate car.
