About My Art

Art has always been an important and exciting experience for me. The beauty of colour and harmony in nature is a pure delight, and I have a compulsion to paint what I see and feel - working fast from memory is especially challenging. My favourite medium is watercolour, followed closely by pastel and acrylic.

I am presently exploring different techniques using acrylic inks, being so clear, bright and translucent, lending themselves to the semi abstracts I am currently working on. This is a complete change of direction for me, but I will continue with studies that are representational in the main.
