No copy
reproductions are permitted, nor modifications or distribution of any of the images or part thereof
in any form or manner whatsoever, without the prior written consent of
the artist Alexandra Dawes.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
All prices are as specified and
exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated.
ORDERS
When placing your order, please check the details before submitting. When
you place an order it is an offer to buy. You
will be sent an email or letter
confirming receipt of your order. The acknowledgement is not
acceptance of your offer. Once your offer has been accepted, you will be
contacted by me via email or letter confirming the details of your
order, with a request for payment for the agreed sum. At this time your offer to buy will have been
accepted, thus creating a legally binding contract between you as
purchaser and me as seller and your
painting will be despatched to you once your payment has been received
and processed.
Your order should include details of the
item or items ordered, the price of each item if more than one, your name, address, email
address and telephone
number, together with a cheque for the correct amount, including
packaging and despatch. Your letter with cheque will constitute an
offer to buy. You will be sent a letter confirming receipt of your
order.
CHEQUES
Cheques should be made payable to: "Sandra Hobbs",
and
made out in Pounds
Sterling, drawn on a UK bank.
Orders will be dispatched after your cheque has cleared, which is
usually up to seven working days, and you have
been notified that your order has been accepted.
Please write your name and address on the back of the cheque.
Cheques should be posted to the address above.
DESPATCH
Postage and packaging is priced on an individual basis and sent by insured mail via
Royal Mail or other carrier.

CANCELLATIONS
By law you may cancel from the date of your order and up to seven
working days after the day on which you receive the goods. The right
of cancellation does not apply to goods which have been made to your
specification or personalized for you. If you wish to cancel please
notify me - details above. Please note that ordered goods cannot be
cancelled without receipt of a written notice of cancellation from
you.
In the event of a refund after your
receipt of the
painting/s, any refund will be minus the
post and packing
costs. You should handle the goods with reasonable
care. The painting/s should be returned to me in their original condition at
your own cost by insured courier, Royal Mail - Special Delivery or equivalent. The
artwork to be returned should be wrapped securely in its original
packaging, or if the original packaging is not available, similar
packaging should be used to provide secure packaging for the transit
of the goods. You will receive a full refund,
minus any post and packing costs where applicable, within thirty days of cancellation. Your refund will be by the same
method you paid for the goods.
Returned goods should be sent to the address
indicated above.
Please include a 'returns' note with details of your name, address and
order number.
Should you fail to return the goods within fourteen days of the date
of your formal cancellation, I shall arrange for a third party to collect
them, or collect them personally from you, and charge you the full cost of collection.
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
Please check the condition of the parcel and contents upon
receipt. If the packaging and or contents are damaged in any way, please retain all
packaging material and notify me within three days of its receipt by you. You
must also notify Royal Mail of said damage within three days of receipt.
They will send you a claim form requesting you to fill it in. Where
compensation is sought from Royal Mail for damaged contents in transit
they have the right to inspect such damage. Your statutory rights as a consumer
shall apply to any entitlement to a refund, repair or exchange in
relation to damaged goods. Where necessary, I will arrange for any
damaged goods to be
collected from you so that you do not incur any expenses.
MISCELLANEOUS
In the event that I am unable to comply with my obligations due to
circumstances beyond my reasonable control, I shall not be liable
for such inability to comply with my obligations or resulting delays.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and
